I need to cite an article that has some sort of statistics on this topic. Any statistic like: how many sports are offered to students in school, or how many sports can be seen on television throughout the year.

    For the 51 state high school associations iowa has two to see what we watch.
    The national federation of high schools to see what they sanction as it will show you what we watch.
